        "content": "<p>Beijing (ANTARA) - Jin Ruirui, president of the Yi Embroidery\nAssociation at Mouding County, Yunnan Province, has dedicated herself to\npreserving this thousand-year-old craft while leading local embroidery\nartisans toward cultural prosperity and rural revitalisation.<\/p>\n<p>With a history of more than 1,300 years, Yi embroidery features\nhighly intricate patterns and diverse stitching techniques, and serves\nas an important medium for Yi culture.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, Jin has helped more than 2,000 women secure\nemployment. Through various initiatives, the ancient craft has stepped\nout of the mountains and appeared on the runways of fashion weeks in\ncities such as Milan, New York, and Paris. Through its fusion with\nmodern fashion design, the craft has repeatedly expanded its reach to\nnew markets and audiences.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, Jin was elected deputy to the National People\u2019s Congress\n(NPC) of China.
