REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA \u2013 The kasidah Ya Alima Sirri Minna, authored\nby Yemeni scholar Habib Abdullah bin Alawi Al Haddad, is one of the most\npopular religious poems in Indonesian prayer gatherings.<\/p>\n
The kasidah not only contains praises and worship of Allah SWT but\nalso deep prayers for the concealment of faults, forgiveness of sins,\nand the purification of the heart and deeds.<\/p>\n
The verses of this kasidah are frequently recited in dhikr gatherings\nas they touch upon the most personal aspects of humanity: fear of sin,\nhope for Allah\u2019s mercy, and anxiety over one\u2019s own weaknesses.<\/p>\n

This opening verse is the most popular as it reflects a servant\u2019s\nacknowledgment of their weaknesses and sins. In Sufi tradition,\nrequesting the concealment of faults is considered the highest form of\netiquette towards Allah SWT.<\/p>\n
