The Parkir Timur Senayan and National Monument (Monas) <br>\nsquares, now being replanted, will hopefully also make Jakarta <br>\ngreener.<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta Governor Sutiyoso apparently wishes to make the Monas <br>\narea, including Jl. Merdeka Timur, Merdeka Utara, Merdeka Barat <br>\nand Merdeka Selatan, more attractive. Following Arjuna Wijaya, <br>\nthe other statues around Monas, the fountain opposite the Indosat <br>\nBuilding and the dancing fountain west of the Monas square are <br>\nlikely to be given a face-lift.<\/p>\n<p>Next on the list are the Gelora Bung Karno stadium and other <br>\ncomplexes of the kind, which will be renovated to help create a <br>\ngorgeous and fresh environment in the capital city.
