A nine-year-old girl with the initial A was struck by a stray bullet\nwhile playing with her friends in Lubang Buaya Village, Setu, Bekasi\nRegency, West Java, on Sunday (5\/7). Police have launched an\ninvestigation into the incident.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe victim was playing with her friends when she suddenly felt\nsomething hit her chest and it was painful,\u201d said Setu Police Chief AKP\nUsep Aramsyah when contacted on Tuesday (7\/7).<\/p>\n
Upon seeing this, the victim\u2019s friends immediately shouted for help.\nLocal residents then took the victim to a clinic before she was referred\nto a hospital.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe victim is currently still undergoing recovery at Fatmawati\nHospital in Jakarta and her condition is stable,\u201d Usep stated.<\/p>\n
Usep said his team is still investigating the stray bullet incident.\nHe noted that officers have conducted a crime scene investigation and\ntaken statements from witnesses.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe investigation is still in process; we are currently\ninterrogating and taking statements from witnesses who were around the\ncrime scene,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Usep mentioned that the police have seized evidence in\nthe form of one projectile that hit the victim.<\/p>\n
