        "content": "<p>86 spots declared prone to poll riots<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Throughout the capital, 86 locations have been<br>\nidentified as being susceptible to violence related to the June 7<br>\ngeneral election, an official from the city's social disturbance<br>\ncontrol center (Pusdalgangsos) said on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Raya Siahaan, head of Pusdalgangsos' data gathering division,<br>\nsaid the figure had risen sharply from only 60 spots in January.<\/p>\n<p>\"The data on the riot-prone areas has been collected since<br>\nMarch 24 in anticipation of the June 7 general election,\" Raya<br>\ntold reporters at City Hall.<\/p>\n<p>\"The riot-prone areas are believed to house people who could<br>\nbe financed to sabotage the June 7 election.\"<\/p>\n<p>The current economic crisis, Raya said, had greatly reduced<br>\nthe standard of living in several subdistricts and substantially<br>\nraised the numbers of the unemployed.<\/p>\n<p>Raya urged city residents to stay at home in June if they had<br>\nno urgent business, and not to walk alone on the streets.<\/p>\n<p>\"I am not saying something bad will happen. I just want this<br>\ncity to be prepared for anything,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>Data from the office revealed that in Central Jakarta the<br>\nareas prone to rioting included Jl. Kramat Raya, Senen, Pasar<br>\nBaru, Cikini, Cempaka Putih (Coca-Cola area), Jl. Salemba Raya.<\/p>\n<p>In North Jakarta, the areas include Jl. Yos Sudarso, Kelapa<br>\nGading, Cilincing, Jl. RE Martadinata.<\/p>\n<p>Areas in West Jakarta include Jl. Gadjah Mada, Glodok, Kota,<br>\nJl. Kyai Tapa Grogol, Roxy, Slipi-Palmerah, Tomang and Jl. Daan<br>\nMogot.<\/p>\n<p>The areas in South Jakarta include Blok A, the Blok M bus<br>\nterminal, Jl. Fatmawati, Tebet, Pasar Minggu, Kebayoran Lama, Jl.<br>\nCiledug Raya, Bulungan, Mayestik.<\/p>\n<p>In East Jakarta, they include areas around the Indonesian<br>\nChristian University (UKI), Rawamangun, Jl.
