The GCC warned\nthat Tehran\u2019s actions pose a serious threat to regional security and\nglobal economic stability. \u201cIran has directed more than 85 percent of\nits attacks towards Gulf countries,\u201d said GCC Secretary-General Jasem\nal-Budaiwi in his statement, as reported by Al Arabiya on Friday\n(27\/3\/2026). \u201cIran is targeting hotels, embassies, water facilities, and\nairports, attacking civilian locations and causing civilian deaths,\u201d he\nsaid in a statement on Thursday (26\/3). Al-Budaiwi emphasised that Gulf\ncountries will not accept ongoing deceptions or attempts to justify\naggression, and reject any efforts to turn Gulf countries into \u201can arena\nfor settling regional disputes.\u201d According to al-Budaiwi, Gulf countries\nhave offered assurances to Iran, yet they continue to face a barrage of\nmissile attacks.
