These integrated service posts
include various essential services for exodus travellers and tourists,
ranging from healthcare services, traffic management to disaster safety
measures during the Eid holiday period.

He also encouraged the regional government to strengthen synergy
between the government, communities, the military, and police in
managing the integrated service posts.

“Commission A recommends the establishment of more integrated unified
post management. This aims to ensure coordination between regional
government posts and posts from community elements, the military and
police run in synchronisation in serving the community, exodus
travellers and tourists,” he said.

“This integration is expected to make public services more effective,
faster, and responsive to challenges in the field,” he added.

In terms of public services, Eko ensured that healthcare services in
DIY will continue to operate during the Eid collective leave period.
Health centres and hospitals, both inpatient and outpatient services,
are being prepared to anticipate emergency needs of the public.

“Our recommendation emphasises the importance of ensuring welfare
guarantees for paramedics who are forgoing their holiday to carry out
their duties,” he said.

Furthermore, Eko also reminded exodus travellers to proactively
report vacant homes or residences to local administrators such as
neighbourhood associations (RT and RW) so that environmental security
can be monitored.

“This aims to reduce the potential for criminal activity in vacant
homes during the exodus period,” said Eko.

Given that the 2026 Eid holiday falls during the rainy season,
residents and tourists are advised to remain vigilant regarding
potential hydrometeorological disasters that may occur at any time.

“It is crucial for Yogyakarta residents, exodus travellers and
tourists to regularly monitor current information through the BMKG
application.
