More than 75 RTs were flooded after heavy rain hit the DKI Jakarta\nregion from Saturday, 7 March 2026 to Sunday, 8 March 2026. Isnawa Adji,\nthe head of the Jakarta Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), said the BPBD\nrecorded 75 RTs and 19 roads flooded as of 8:00 WIB.<\/p>\n
The flooded areas included 22 RTs in West Jakarta, comprising 4 RTs\nin Kelurahan Kedaung Kali Angke with a depth of 60 cm, 4 RTs in\nKelurahan Kedoya Selatan with 30 cm of flooding, 4 RTs in Kedoya Utara\nwith 20 cm; 4 RTs in Kelurahan Sukabumi Selatan with 100 cm, 1 RT in\nKelurahan Joglo with 65 cm, Kelurahan Kembangan Selatan with 50 cm of\nflooding, and 2 RT in Kembangan Utara with 60 cm.<\/p>\n
\u2018The floods were caused by heavy rainfall,\u2019 Isnawa said in a\nstatement.<\/p>\n
Flooding also affected six kelurahan in South Jakarta with 22 RTs\naffected. Areas include Kelurahan Cilandak Barat with 1 RT affected by\nfloods up to 120 cm, 3 RTs in Kelurahan Cipete Utara, 12 RTs in\nPetogogan with 20 cm due to overflow from Kali Krukut and Kali PHB\nNipam; 1 RT in Pela Mampang flooded to 170 cm due to overflow of Kali\nMampang; 3 RT in Kelurahan Duren Tiga with 60 cm flooding, and 2 RT in\nCilandak Timur.<\/p>\n
Isnawa said 31 RTs were also flooded in East Jakarta in two\nkelurahan, Kelurahan Halim Kampung Melayu and Kelurahan Halim\nPerdanakusuma.<\/p>\n
In addition to residential areas, floods inundated 19 road segments\nin Jakarta, including Srengseng Raya Street, Daan Mogot KM 13, Perumahan\nGreen Garden (MCD) Kedoya Utara, Meruya Selatan Street, Daan Mogot\nStreet (in front of Victoria), Daan Mogot Street Halte Taman Kota,\nKapten Pierre Tendean Street, Cileduk Raya Street (Seskoal), Cileduk\nRaya Street (Kolong ITC), Cileduk Raya Street (Shell service station).\nThen Bintaro Permai Raya Street (H. Gari), Beo Pesanggrahan Street,\nSwadarma Raya Street in Ulujami, Puri Kembangan Street (in front of SMK\nBudi Murni), Kramat Raya Street, Rawa Indah Street, Karet Pasar Baru\nBarat I Karet Tengsin Street, Petamburan II Street, and Bendungan Hilir\nStreet.<\/p>\n
\u2018To handle the situation, the BPBD of DKI Jakarta has deployed\npersonnel to monitor flood conditions in each area and to coordinate\nwith the Dinas SDA, Dinas Bina Marga and Dinas Gulkarmat to carry out\npumping of floodwaters and ensure that water channels are functioning\nproperly,\u2019 Isnawa said.<\/p>\n
Isnawa urged the public to remain cautious and to contact the\nemergency number 112 for emergency services.<\/p>\n
BMKG meanwhile said light rain had drenched the entire Jakarta\nregion, including the Kepulauan Seribu, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta,\nWest Jakarta, South Jakarta and East Jakarta since this morning, with\nconditions expected to continue into the afternoon. Light rain was felt\nin the Kepulauan Seribu and South Jakarta; partly cloudy skies were\nforecast over Central Jakarta, West Jakarta and East Jakarta, with North\nJakarta forecast to be sunny. In the afternoon, BMKG predicted sunny\nweather for Kepulauan Seribu; elsewhere Jakarta would be cloudy.
