        "content": "<p>60,000 firecrackers seized in Kuningan<\/p>\n<p>KUNINGAN, West Java: Local police confiscated around 60,000<br>\nfirecrackers valued at tens of millions of rupiah during several<br>\nraids on street vendors in the city over recent days.<\/p>\n<p>Kuningan Police precinct chief Adios Salopa said on Wednesday,<br>\nhowever, that no arrests had been made during the raids, which<br>\nhad targeted a number of traditional markets in the town.<\/p>\n<p>The operation is the \"first step\" in securing next month's<br>\nreligious holidays Idul Fitri and Christmas and has involved 40<br>\nwell-trained policemen, he said.<\/p>\n<p>\"We consider firecrackers a serious problem that could<br>\npotentially spark a crime,\" Adios said. \"Many crimes have been<br>\ntriggered by the use of firecrackers.
