Bandung \u2013 West Java Police on Wednesday announced that 6,115 combined\npersonnel will be deployed to secure Persib Bandung\u2019s victory parade on\n23 and 24 May. Persib are expected to clinch the BRI Super League title\nwith at least a point from Persijap in the match at Gelora Bandung\nLautan Api (GBLA) on Saturday, 23 May 2026.<\/p>\n
Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Senior\nCommissioner of Police Hendra Rochmawan, said Bobotoh spectators are\npredicted to parade at several locations including Jalan Cikapayang,\nDago, the Mochtar Kusumaatmadja Overpass and other main roads.<\/p>\n
\u201cA total of 6,115 combined personnel are being prepared to secure all\nactivities. The personnel consist of elements from the Police, the\nIndonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), local government authorities,\nand other security components,\u201d he said on Wednesday, 20 May 2026.<\/p>\n
He added that security would be conducted fully to ensure all\nactivities run safely and in a conducive manner. Security will start\nfrom supporters\u2019 gathering points to the victory convoy routes.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll personnel will be positioned according to plotting to anticipate\ncrowd density and potential public order disturbances,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
For security at the GBLA match, he said a total of 2,892 combined\npersonnel have been prepared, comprising 1,997 Police, 160 TNI, 125\npersonnel from related agencies, and 610 external personnel. In addition\nto stadium security, authorities have arranged special security for the\nsupporters\u2019 euphoria outside GBLA, particularly in the Dago Cikapayang\narea, the Pasopati Overpass, Taman Jomblo, and Graha Persib.<\/p>\n
Additionally, 644 personnel will be deployed specifically to\nanticipate mass gatherings and the carnival-like atmosphere of\nsupporters outside the stadium.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe urge the public and Bobotoh to celebrate the victory in an\norderly manner, not to engage in actions that endanger themselves or\nother road users, and to comply with officers on the ground,\u201d Hendra\nsaid.<\/p>\n
Police are also preparing traffic management on several main Bandung\ncity roads during the victory convoy. The convoy route is planned to\npass through the Gedung Sate area to Jalan Asia Afrika, which is\nexpected to be crowded with thousands of supporters.<\/p>\n
Officers will conduct strict checks at several entry points to the\nstadium or checkpoint locations. Spectators are prohibited from bringing\nflares, sharp weapons, alcoholic beverages, fireworks, and other\ndangerous items.<\/p>\n
