        "content": "<p>PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) recorded 51,600 passengers departing\nfrom Jakarta today, with ticket sales continuing to be processed\ndynamically.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTicket sales are still ongoing since the selling process is\ncontinuing. Today we have recorded 51,600 tickets sold and passengers\nwho will depart,\u201d said Franoto Wibowo, Public Relations Manager of PT\nKereta Api Indonesia Daop 1 Jakarta, at Pasar Senen Station in Central\nJakarta on Monday (16 March 2026).<\/p>\n<p>Of the 51,600 passengers recorded in Jakarta, PT KAI reported that\nmore than 23,000 passengers will depart from Pasar Senen Station. These\npassengers are travelling to various cities on the island of Java.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor Pasar Senen today, approximately 23,286 passengers will depart\nto various cities across Java,\u201d Franoto said.<\/p>\n<p>PT KAI predicts that departures from Jakarta will continue to remain\nabove 50,000 passengers per day. This volume is expected to persist\nuntil 20 March.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom 14 March through 20 March, we estimate that the number of\npassengers departing across all of Daop 1 will be above 50,000,\u201d he\nstated.<\/p>\n<p>Franoto noted that railway usage during this year\u2019s Lebaran\nhomecoming season has increased compared to last year, with a rise of\napproximately 2 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere has been an increase. During the period of 11 March to 15\nMarch compared to the same period in 2025, there was an increase of\naround 2 per cent,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Franoto confirmed that Lebaran homecoming tickets remain available in\nsufficient quantities. He advised rail passengers to arrive 100 minutes\nbefore departure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur recommendation is that tickets are still available in adequate\nnumbers, so please book through the Access application or official\nchannels. Also, please pay attention to your baggage to ensure nothing\nis left behind or mixed up with other passengers\u2019 belongings. We have\nalso advised passengers to arrive 100 minutes before the train\u2019s\ndeparture time so they can board the platform on time,\u201d he added.<\/p>",
