The Chairman of the DPD II Partai Golkar for Southeast Maluku,\nAngrapinus Rumatora alias Nus Kei, was killed by stabbing at Karel\nSadsuitubun Ibra Airport in Southeast Maluku, Maluku. It was later\nrevealed that Nus Kei was stabbed by two individuals.<\/p>\n
The two perpetrators immediately fled the scene after stabbing the\nvictim on Sunday (19\/4) around 11:25 WIT. Police swiftly arrested the\ntwo suspects, HR (28) and FU (36), at their hiding place in the\nSoutheast Maluku region two hours after the incident.<\/p>\n
At the time, Nus Kei had just landed after an air journey from\nJakarta. Nus Kei was evacuated to Karel Sadsuitubun Hospital around\n12:00 WIT and received medical treatment before being declared dead.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe motive is revenge, based on our preliminary investigation,\u201d said\nthe Chief of Police of Southeast Maluku, Rian Sehendi, as reported by\ndetikSulsel on Sunday (19\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
Rian did not provide further details regarding the grudge the two\nperpetrators held against the victim. However, he stated that the grudge\noriginated when the perpetrators and the victim were both in\nJakarta.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe previous issue between the perpetrators and the victim was in\nJakarta,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlhamdulillah, the perpetrators were successfully arrested less than\ntwo hours after the incident. Thanks to the cooperation of the family,\nthe two perpetrators were captured,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
To the police, the two perpetrators accused Nus Kei of being the\nmastermind behind the murder of their brother in Bekasi. The incident\noccurred in 2020 in Kalimalang, Bekasi.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe two perpetrators held a grudge because the victim Nus Kei was\nthe mastermind behind the murder of their brother named Fenansius\nWadanubun alias Dani Holat,\u201d said the Head of Public Relations of Maluku\nRegional Police, Commissioner Rositah Umasugi, to reporters on Monday\n(20\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
\u201cThe incident occurred in 2020 in Jakarta next to Kalimalang\nApartment, Bekasi,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Rositah stated that the two perpetrators were transferred to the\nMaluku Regional Police Headquarters in Ambon City. The perpetrators were\nmoved from Southeast Maluku for security reasons.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe two stabbing perpetrators who killed Nus Kei have been\ntransferred to Ambon for further examination,\u201d said Rositah.<\/p>\n
Rositah said the two perpetrators were flown using a commercial\naeroplane from Malra. They have arrived in Ambon and are currently being\nexamined.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter Ambon, they were taken to the Maluku Regional Police\nHeadquarters for further examination,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n
Separately, the Head of Public Relations of Southeast Maluku Police,\nIpda Wandi Puasa, said the transfer of the perpetrators was to\nanticipate unwanted incidents. The two are being handled further by the\nMaluku Regional Police.<\/p>\n
\u201cRegarding the two perpetrators who have been taken to Ambon for\nsecurity,\u201d Wandi revealed.<\/p>\n
Police examined six people to delve deeper into the murder case\nagainst Nus Kei. Police are investigating suspicions of premeditated\nmurder in Nus Kei\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause of that, we are still developing (regarding suspicions of\npremeditated murder). But that is the article demanded (premeditated\nmurder) applied by investigators in handling the case,\u201d explained\nRositah.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo the six witnesses include the two perpetrators, the reporting\nwitness, and witnesses at the crime scene,\u201d she detailed.<\/p>\n
Rositah added that after examination, the two perpetrators will be\ndetained at the Maluku Regional Police Detention Centre. She said the\ntwo perpetrators face charges of premeditated murder.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe criminal act against life or premeditated murder and or criminal\nact against the body or joint assault causing death as meant in Article\n459 jo 20 letter c or Article 458 paragraph (1) jo 20 letter c or 262\nparagraph 4 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No.\u00a01 of 2023 on the\nCriminal Code,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe penalty for the two suspected perpetrators is the death penalty,\nlife imprisonment, or a maximum of 20 years in prison,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Rositah revealed that Nus Kei died suffering from four stab wounds.\nSeveral body parts that sustained stab wounds were the chest, neck, and\nspine.<\/p>\n
