In a spirit of\nunity and togetherness, they are determined to contribute to the\ndevelopment of a better and more advanced East Java.<\/p>\n<p>Surabaya (ANTARA) \u2013 Around 5,000 university students, young people\nand santri declared their rejection of division and drugs at a mass\nconsolidation event at the East Java Regional Police headquarters in\nSurabaya on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEast Java\u2019s younger generation, who will shape Indonesia\u2019s Golden\nIndonesia 2045 vision, have come with great enthusiasm. In a spirit of\nunity and togetherness, they are determined to contribute to the\ndevelopment of a better and more advanced East Java,\u201d East Java Police\nChief Inspector General Dekananto Eko Purwono said.<\/p>\n<p>The event was part of the 2026 East Java University Students, Youth\nand Santri Mass Consolidation, attended by participants from regencies\nand cities across the province.<\/p>\n<p>Dekananto praised the participants\u2019 commitment to fighting division\nand drug trafficking. He said young people and santri had a strategic\nrole in maintaining stability in East Java, a gateway to the\nNusantara.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKeep creating for the advancement of yourselves, your families, your\ncommunities and our country, the Unitary State of the Republic of\nIndonesia. The country and nation await your contributions,\u201d Piek\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the V\/Brawijaya Military Regional Command and East Java\nPolice were committed to maintaining regional stability and supporting\nthe government\u2019s programmes.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, East Java Regional Secretary Adhy Karyono urged students\nand young people to remain critical in overseeing development by putting\nforward constructive ideas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo not stop being critical, but remain constructive. We must respond\nto differences wisely while continuing to safeguard unity,\u201d Adhy\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe urge all young people to avoid hoaxes and the like. These are the\nmain points of this event, alongside our commitment to maintaining\nunity, as set out in the declaration,\u201d Hendra said.<\/p>",
