        "content": "<p>PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (JJC) recorded 48,655 vehicles\nusing the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZ) flyover in both directions\nduring the Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah holiday on Wednesday (27 May\n2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis represents a 10.89% increase compared to the normal traffic\nvolume of 43,877 vehicles,\u201d said Desti Anggraeni, General Manager of\nOperations and Maintenance at JJC, in Bekasi on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>She stated that vehicle volumes are expected to remain elevated\nthroughout the extended holiday period. A total of 76,385 vehicles were\nrecorded leaving Jakarta since the day before Eid al-Adha.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the two days, traffic surged by 78.3% compared to the normal\nvolume of 42,841 vehicles,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Daily traffic data showed a 32.46% increase from the normal volume of\n21,787 vehicles, with 28,860 vehicles travelling from Jakarta towards\nCikampek.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese figures indicate continued high travel activity towards\neastern Java during the extended holiday period,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Desti urged road users to prioritise safety by ensuring drivers and\nvehicles are in optimal condition, with sufficient power and fuel.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers were also advised to strictly follow traffic signs and\ninstructions from officials, particularly during rain-induced traffic\nmanagement measures that affect visibility and road conditions.<\/p>\n<p>For real-time toll traffic updates, users can contact the 24-hour\nhotline at 133 or via the TRAVOY app available on iOS and Android.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrioritise safety and comply with traffic signs and on-site\ninstructions to ensure a safe and comfortable journey to your\ndestination,\u201d she added.<\/p>",
