Tangerang\n(ANTARA) - A total of 460 officials from the Hajj Organising Committee\n(PPIH) were dispatched to Madinah, Saudi Arabia, via Soekarno-Hatta\nInternational Airport (Soetta), Tangerang, Banten, on Friday (17\/4).\n\u201cToday, the Airport Area and Madinah are being dispatched, while the\nMakkah Area, God willing, will be sent tomorrow. In total, around 400\nofficials are departing for Saudi Arabia today,\u201d said PPIH Airport and\nMadinah Area Official in the Accommodation Sector, Eman Sulaiman, in\nTangerang on Friday. He explained that hundreds of officials are being\nsent to provide services and guidance to Indonesian Hajj pilgrims during\ntheir stay in Saudi Arabia. They are drawn from elements of the Ministry\nof Religious Affairs (Kemenag), Ministry of Health (Kemenkes),\nTNI\/Polri, and community groups. During the Hajj season, he said, PHI\nofficials will be placed in two main work areas, namely at the airport\nand the Madinah region. Eman noted that the departure of these hundreds\nof officials is being carried out in stages according to the division of\nwork areas. They, he said, are scheduled to be in Saudi Arabia for\napproximately 77 days, with the main focus on providing all services,\nincluding to elderly pilgrims (lansia). \u201cOur task is to ensure that all\nIndonesian Hajj pilgrims receive the best services, from accommodation\nto other needs.
