In West Lombok, 40 part-time Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) have been working and receiving salaries since January but are still awaiting their official appointment decrees due to a data remapping error requiring re-verification by the National Civil Service Agency (BKN). The local Human Resources and Development Agency has formally requested resolution from BKN, which is currently conducting the verification process, leaving these workers in legal limbo. This administrative delay highlights ongoing challenges in Indonesia's civil service recruitment procedures, potentially affecting employee morale and operational clarity.

As many as 40 part-time Government Employees with Work Agreements
(PPPK) under the West Lombok Regency Government have yet to receive
their appointment decrees. Meanwhile, thousands of other part-time PPPK
workers have received their appointment decrees simultaneously three
months ago.

The Head of the Regional Civil Service and Human Resource Development
Agency (BKDPSDM) of West Lombok, Baiq Mustika Dwi Adni, explained that
the administrative issue with the decrees for these 40 PPPK is not due
to incomplete individual documents. Instead, it stems from an error in
the data remapping process that must be re-verified by the National
Civil Service Agency (BKN).

“There was an error in the remapping,” said Mustika on Wednesday
(15/4/2026).

Mustika stated that her office has already written to BKN regarding
the matter. According to her, BKN is currently conducting further
verification on the data of the part-time PPPK workers who have not yet
received their appointment decrees.

“We have officially written to BKN. The process is now being
verified,” she added.

On the other hand, Mustika said that these 40 individuals have been
working since the beginning of the year. In fact, these dozens of
part-time PPPK workers have also been receiving their salaries.

“That means they continue to receive their salaries as usual. They
have been working since January,” Mustika stated.

Nevertheless, this situation leaves the 40 part-time PPPK workers in
a precarious and unclear legal position. Mustika urged these part-time
PPPK workers not to draw incorrect conclusions until a decision from BKN
is issued.

“The main point is that it is in the verification process and
waiting. Until when? The timeline has not been determined,” she
concluded.
",
