Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, stated that\n40,962 participants have successfully passed the selection process to\nparticipate in the second batch of the 2026 National Internship\nProgramme.<\/p>\n
During the Kick-Off for the second batch of the National Internship\nProgramme in Jakarta on Wednesday, Yassierli explained that this figure\nwas determined after the government conducted a selection process for\ncandidates meeting the required criteria. Based on data verified\nalongside the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology,\napproximately 350,000 university graduates from the past year met the\ncriteria and applied for the programme.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter undergoing the selection process, we have finally appointed\n40,000 people as participants for this second batch of the second\ncohort,\u201d said Yassierli.<\/p>\n
With this selection, the total number of participants across the two\nbatches has reached 87,000 people.<\/p>\n
Yassierli noted that the government will subsequently conduct an\nevaluation before opening the third batch of the National Internship\nProgramme. The government is targeting a total of 150,000 participants\nfor the 2026 National Internship Programme overall.<\/p>\n
