        "content": "<p>Bandung \u2013 A total of 4,000 residents from West Java participated in\nthe free Lebaran homecoming programme for 2026, organised by the West\nJava Police (Polda Jawa Barat), on Wednesday (18\/3\/2026). They departed\nfor various regions in Central Java and East Java. Deputy Chief of West\nJava Police, Brigadier General Ade Vivid, stated that Polda Jawa Barat\ndispatched 4,391 residents on the free homecoming to their respective\nhometowns. The total participants in the 2026 homecoming programme by\nPolda Jabar and its affiliates amounted to 84 buses with 4,391\npassengers. \u201c4,391 residents are participating in this free homecoming\nprogramme,\u201d he said. He explained that the free homecoming routes head\nto several areas in Central Java, with destinations to Solo via the\nCipali Toll Road, Brebes, Tegal, Pemalang, Pekalongan, Kendal, Semarang,\nSalatiga, Boyolali, up to Tirtonadi Terminal in Solo. Meanwhile, via the\nsouthern route to Yogyakarta through Garut, Ciamis, Tasikmalaya, Banjar,\nCilacap, Kebumen, Purworejo, up to Giwangan Terminal in Yogyakarta. Ade\nVivid stated that the Polri Presisi free homecoming programme is a\npolice initiative to assist the community in celebrating Lebaran safely\nand comfortably. \u201cBefore departure, we also conducted health checks for\nthe bus drivers, and during the journey, the residents participating in\nthis programme will be provided with snacks,\u201d he said.
