Head of the Regional Office, Felucia\nSengky Ratna, stated that the enforcement was conducted by all working\nunits, namely the Ngurah Rai Special Class I Immigration Office, the\nDenpasar Class I Immigration Office, the Singaraja Class II Immigration\nOffice, the Denpasar Immigration Detention Centre, and the Tabanan and\nKlungkung Non-TPI Class III Immigration Offices. \u201cSurveillance is\ncarried out through field operations and monitoring of hotspots for\nforeigner activity, directly conducted by Immigration officers and other\nstakeholders,\u201d she said on Saturday (4\/7\/2026). Based on first-semester\n2026 data, the majority of violations found included misuse of residence\npermits and overstaying. Additionally, surveillance also targeted\nactivities impacting public order, violations of customary norms, and\ninvolvement in illegal economic activities. In the same month, officers secured an Interpol fugitive from\nthe United Kingdom at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport via the\nRed Notice system. Furthermore, in June 2026, Immigration thwarted the\ndeparture of an Interpol fugitive from Australia involved in criminal\ncases in his home country through cooperation with the Criminal\nInvestigation Directorate of the National Police and the Australian\nFederal Police (AFP).
