Sudi Silalahi<br>\nsaid here on Friday that he had recently dismissed 31 soldiers<br>\nfor breaking the law and for other disciplinary acts.<\/p>\n<p>\"I signed the orders (for their dismissal) about a week ago.<br>\nBut this does not cancel out the possibility of further<br>\ndismissals,\" Sudi said.<\/p>\n<p>\"Most were let go because of desertion, but there were also<br>\nthose who were dismissed for being engaged in criminal acts,\" he<br>\nadded, as quoted by Antara.<\/p>\n<p>Sudi said that such dismissals were part of the cultural<br>\nreforms being conducted within the ranks of the Army and that the<br>\nsoldiers were dishonorably discharged after being processed<br>\nthrough a military tribunal.<\/p>\n<p>\"We call on the community to help us keep a wary eye on these<br>\nformer soldiers, especially if they continue to use military<br>\ninfluence,\" he said.<\/p>",
