Teheran \u2014 The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated on\nMonday, 9 March 2026 that Iran\u2019s armed forces have successfully\nconducted the 30th wave of attacks against US and Israeli targets across\nthe Middle East. The attacks were carried out using drones and\nhypersonic and ballistic missiles.<\/p>\n
\u201cCoinciding with the selection of the new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba\nKhamenei, the 30th wave of Operation True Promise 4 was executed with\n100 per cent success,\u201d the IRGC said, according to state television\nstation IRIB.<\/p>\n
The statement added that the attacks targeted \u201cUS terrorist bases\u201d in\nthe region and northern occupied territories using advanced missiles\nsuch as Khorramshahr, Fattah, and Kheibar, as well as strategic\ndrones.<\/p>\n
On the same day, Bahrain\u2019s National Communications Centre stated that\nthe Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) facility in Maameer village caught\nfire following the Iranian attack. The centre added that the attack\ncaused no material damage and firefighting teams successfully\nextinguished the blaze.<\/p>\n
Previously on 28 February, the United States and Israel launched\nattacks against targets in Iran, including Teheran, resulting in damage\nand civilian casualties.<\/p>\n
On the first day of the conflict, a girls\u2019 school in Iran came under\nattack, killing numerous schoolgirls who were in class.
