        "content": "<p>JAKARTA - Minister of Manpower Yassierli stated that 20 percent to 30\npercent of participants in the National Internship Programme have been\nrecruited by private companies.<\/p>\n<p>This figure comes from monitoring results by the Ministry of\nManpower.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome have already recruited, yes, 20 percent of the interns, some 30\npercent, and we are currently compiling the data,\u201d said Yassierli,\nquoted from the official Kemenaker YouTube channel on Thursday\n(24\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Yassierli assessed that companies have given a positive response to\nthe participants\u2019 performance. Several companies acknowledged the\nquality of the participants, although not all could recruit them\nyet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to recruit, but unfortunately we cannot recruit at this time\ndue to internal company conditions,\u201d said Yassierli, quoting business\nactors.<\/p>\n<p>He viewed this acknowledgement as a signal of future job\nopportunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf course, congratulations to the younger siblings in batch 1 of the\ninternship participants who have completed and have been offered jobs by\ncompanies,\u201d said Yassierli.<\/p>\n<p>The programme is not fully complete for participants. The Ministry of\nManpower is still preparing the next stage in the form of competency\ncertification.<\/p>\n<p>This programme is run together with the National Professional\nCertification Agency. Participants are free to choose whether to join or\nnot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe competency certificate is one proof that a person is indeed\ncompetent in a certain competency skill,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>During the programme, participants receive wages equivalent to the\nregional minimum wage paid by the government.<\/p>",
