        "content": "<p>The Vice President of Corporate Communication at PT Pertamina Patra\nNiaga, Kitty Andhora, stated that the company has prepared the necessary\ninfrastructure and facilities to support the implementation of Biodiesel\n50 (B50), ensuring smooth production and distribution.<\/p>\n<p>As the launch of B50 by President Prabowo Subianto approaches,\npreparations are proceeding smoothly. It has been confirmed that 29 out\nof 126 Pertamina fuel terminals are ready to distribute B50 in the form\nof Biosolar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPertamina Patra Niaga has prepared the required facilities and\ninfrastructure so that the production, distribution, and supply\nprocesses can run effectively,\u201d said Kitty in Jakarta on Tuesday, 7 July\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis number will gradually increase during the transition period,\u201d\nshe added.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources\nNumber 257.K\/EK.01\/MEM.E\/2026 regarding the Obligation to Blend Biofuel\n(Biodiesel) with Solar Fuel at a rate of 50 per cent, there is a\ntransition period for fuel enterprises that still hold stocks of\nbiodiesel for blending at the 40 per cent (B40) rate.<\/p>\n<p>Enterprises with remaining B40 stocks are permitted to distribute the\nfuel until 30 September 2026, provided it meets the established\nstandards and specifications.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPertamina Patra Niaga has prepared the B50 distribution\ninfrastructure, ranging from fuel terminals to distribution points such\nas petrol stations (SPBU) and motorcycle fuel stations (APMS),\u201d she\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>The government continues to encourage energy diversification through\nthe use of biofuels. Since 1 July 2026, the government has officially\nimplemented the B50 biodiesel policy, which consists of a 50 per cent\nblend of solar oil with palm oil.<\/p>",
