Matullah Gani, a senior company executive in Minas district<br>\nsaid the donation symbolizes the company's commitment to helping<br>\npeople in its area of operation.<\/p>\n<p>\"We will help the locals in meeting their basic needs as they<br>\nhave requested from us,\" Matullah was quoted by Antara as saying.<\/p>\n<p>The recipients are schools along the Mandau River. To reach<br>\nthe location, one has to take the road from Pekanbaru to Perawang<br>\nand continue by raft, arriving at the area in about two hours.<\/p>\n<p>The company has also committed to assist with the<br>\nrehabilitation of schools, health posts and clean water supply<br>\nsystems, the report said.
