Temanggung (ANTARA) - A total of 259 Red and White\nVillage\/Sub-district Cooperatives (KDKMP) in Temanggung Regency, Central\nJava, are ready to operate, while nine other sites are still in the\nprocess of completion.<\/p>\n
Commander of Military District Command 0706\/Temanggung, Lieutenant\nColonel Inf Richie Fadly, said in Temanggung on Wednesday that the nine\nsites still under construction had on average reached progress of around\n80 to 90 per cent.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are optimistic that the entire construction of KDKMP in 268\nvillages and sub-districts can be completed within approximately one\nweek,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He noted that the total number of villages and sub-districts in\nTemanggung Regency reaches 289. Thus, there remain 21 villages or\nsub-districts that will be included in the second phase of KDKMP\nconstruction.<\/p>\n
According to him, during the construction process a number of\nobstacles were encountered, but these were overcome thanks to\ncoordination and cooperation with village governments and various\nrelated parties.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlhamdulillah, during the process there may have been obstacles, but\nwe were able to overcome them. So far, cooperation with the village\nside, especially those who will become the full beneficiaries of this\nKDKMP, has been very helpful,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
In addition, he said, coordination regarding permits has also been\ncarried out with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda)\nand relevant regional apparatus organisations (OPD).<\/p>\n
He stated that the launch of the KDKMP is still awaiting the\ncompletion of facilities and infrastructure to be placed at each site. A\nnumber of items such as outlets, CCTV, air conditioning units, and other\nsupporting facilities are still in the process of distribution.<\/p>\n
He said the distribution of these items is being carried out by PT\nAgrinas Nusantara to all KDKMP sites.
