        "content": "<p>Denpasar\u2019s Transport Department (Dishub) took action against freight\ntrucks parked on the shoulder of Cargo Road in Ubung Kaja, North\nDenpasar, on Monday morning (20\/7\/2026). A total of 21 vehicles were\ncaught in the operation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe gave instructions to park at the owners\u2019 warehouses or at the\nDishub freight depot. Meanwhile, four trucks were stickered because\ntheir drivers were not with the vehicles,\u201d said the Head of the Law\nEnforcement Section at Denpasar\u2019s Dishub, Putu Eddy Candra Ningrat, when\ncontacted by detikBali on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>According to Eddy, the crackdown was carried out because parking on\nthe shoulder of Cargo Road risks disrupting the smooth flow of traffic.\nGiven the high volume of vehicles on the road, truck drivers were urged\nnot to park their vehicles indiscriminately.<\/p>\n<p>The operation involved 10 Dishub personnel deployed after the morning\nroll call. The activity forms part of the supervision and control of\ntraffic and road transport policy implementation in Denpasar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have issued appeals for order and compliance with the\ninstructions given. Signage enforcement was also carried out for the\nsake of public safety,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, regarding plans for a freight terminal in Denpasar, he\nsaid: \u201cIt is still being finalised. Hopefully there will be a solution\non this matter.\u201d<\/p>",
