        "content": "<p>Statistics Indonesia\u2019s (BPS) West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Provincial\nOffice has announced that the 2026 economic census across the province\u2019s\n10 regencies and cities will involve 5,210 enumerators, working for two\nmonths until August 2026.<\/p>\n<p>BPS NTB Chief Wahyudin stated in Mataram on Sunday that these\nenumerators will conduct direct data collection from households and\nbusinesses in their respective areas. He emphasised the strategic role\nof enumerators as the frontline in ensuring comprehensive and accurate\nrecording of all community economic activities.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, BPS requires enumerators who not only possess strong\ncapabilities but also understand their operational areas and are\nprepared to carry out data collection duties professionally. Currently,\nBPS is conducting additional recruitment through the same process to\nbolster the availability of statistical personnel for various data\ncollection activities. However, not all candidates who pass the\nadditional recruitment will be assigned to the 2026 economic census. The\ncensus requires exactly 5,210 enumerators, while the additional\nrecruitment aims to build a pool of qualified candidates for future\nstatistical activities as needed. \u2018Qualified candidates may be\nconsidered to support other statistical activities on the ground as\nrequired,\u2019 he said.<\/p>",
