MEULABOH \u2013 A total of 1,800 junior and senior high school students in\nWest Aceh Regency took part in a torch parade organised by the West Aceh\nScout District Branch in Meulaboh. The torch parade was held to welcome\nthe holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriyah\/2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis torch parade is a sign of our joy and readiness in welcoming\nthe holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriyah,\u201d said West Aceh Deputy Regent\nSaid Fadheil in a statement on Sunday (15\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n
He said the torchlight carried by the Scout members not only\nilluminated the route traversed but also served as a symbol of\nenthusiasm, unity and the light of faith that must be continuously\nupheld in daily life.<\/p>\n
Said stated that the parade was not merely an annual tradition but a\nmoment to foster a sense of togetherness, strengthen fraternal bonds,\nand demonstrate that the younger generation of West Aceh is ready to\nwelcome Ramadan with clean hearts and full spirit.<\/p>\n
The West Aceh Regency Government called on the community to use the\ntorch parade as an opportunity to strengthen character, discipline and\nresponsibility, whilst creating an orderly, safe and joyful atmosphere\nwithin the community.<\/p>\n
The local government also invited all residents to continually\nmaintain social ties and strengthen Islamic fraternity so that worship\nconducted during the holy month of Ramadan may always receive blessings\nfrom Allah SWT.<\/p>\n
The West Aceh Regency Government expressed its gratitude to the West\nAceh Scout District Branch for continuing to organise positive,\neducational and religiously meaningful activities such as this.<\/p>\n
