        "content": "<p>As of 2 March 2026, at least 178,070 passengers are predicted to pass\nthrough Bandung and Kiaracondong railway stations during the 2026 Eid\nholiday travel period, according to current ticket booking data.<\/p>\n<p>Kuswardojo, Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 2 Bandung, stated\nthat this figure represents a combined total of 92,390 departing\npassengers and 85,680 arriving passengers using the Long-Distance Train\nService (KAJJ).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs of the 2 March 2026 update, 92,390 passengers are booked to\ndepart and 85,680 passengers are expected to arrive at Bandung and\nKiaracondong stations. This figure will continue to change as ticket\nsales proceed,\u201d Kuswardojo said in Bandung on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the high number of arrivals demonstrates that Bandung\nserves not only as a departure point for homecoming travel but also\nremains an attractive holiday destination during the 2026 Eid break.<\/p>\n<p>To accommodate the anticipated surge, KAI Bandung has optimised its\nfacilities and infrastructure whilst increasing field personnel.\nKuswardojo confirmed that all train sets have undergone intensive\ninspection to ensure safety standards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKAI Daop 2 Bandung is committed to providing the best service,\nensuring that passenger journeys are safe, secure, comfortable, and on\nschedule,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>KAI has urged prospective passengers to plan their travel well in\nadvance and arrive at stations early to avoid congestion in service\nareas.
