        "content": "<p>16 foreign prostitutes nabbed<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Immigration officers arrested 16 foreign women at<br>\nseveral hotels and cafes for abusing their visas and working as<br>\nprostitutes in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Spokesman at the ministry of justice immigration directorate<br>\ngeneral Ade Endang Dahlan said here on Friday that his office had<br>\ncarried out a number of raids on expatriates since Oct. 29 in<br>\nhotels and other suspect buildings in the city.<\/p>\n<p>He was quoted by Antara as saying that the raids were<br>\nconducted following reports from residents about their presence.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, their existence may have been related to a<br>\nsyndicate that arranged their entry to the country.<\/p>\n<p>After being questioned, they will be deported to their<br>\nrespective home countries.--JP<\/p>",
