        "content": "<p>155 lawmakers fail to declare assets<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Some 155 members of the House of Representatives<br>\n(DPR) and the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) are still<br>\nrefusing to submit asset declarations to the Civil Servants'<br>\nWealth Audit Commission (KPKPN).<\/p>\n<p>KPKPN deputy chairman Abdullah Hehamahua said here on Thursday<br>\nthat President Megawati Soekarnoputri's Indonesian Democratic<br>\nParty of Struggle (PDI Perjuangan) topped the list for lawmakers<br>\nwho had not submitted their declarations with 47 offenders,<br>\nfollowed by House Speaker Akbar Tandjung's Golkar with 25, the<br>\nInterest Groups faction 22, the military\/police faction 19,<br>\nregional representatives 16, and Vice President Hamzah Haz's<br>\nUnited Development Party (PPP) with 13. The others came from the<br>\nReform Faction with five offenders and the National Awakening<br>\nParty also with five.<\/p>\n<p>Abdullah refused, however, to reveal the names of the<br>\nlegislators or say what means his commission would utilize to<br>\nforce the lawmakers to submit their declarations.<\/p>",
