        "content": "<p>JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung stated that 130 railway\ncrossing points without gates and guards are the responsibility of PT\nKereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Daop 1 Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor railway crossings, they are indeed the responsibility or\nauthority of KAI,\u201d Pramono said when met in the Cengkareng area, West\nJakarta, on Saturday (2\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, Pramono assured that the DKI Jakarta Provincial\nGovernment is ready to help if PT KAI is open to requesting\nassistance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThus, if the DKI Jakarta Government is subsequently assigned a task,\nwe will gladly provide support to KAI,\u201d Pramono stated.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Rano Karno once\nsaid that his side would evaluate all at-grade crossings, especially\nthose that are unguarded.<\/p>\n<p>He mentioned that unguarded crossings often become accident sites,\nthus requiring special attention.<\/p>\n<p>One step taken by the DKI Provincial Government at present is\nbuilding a flyover in Latumenten, West Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>He added that, besides the Latumenten project, there are plans to\nbuild a flyover in the Bintaro area.<\/p>\n<p>However, that project is still facing several obstacles, including\nissues with the local community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cActually, there are two flyovers, namely in the Bintaro area, but\nBintaro apparently still has problems with the community. Meanwhile, as\nfar as I know, Bintaro has had quite a long socialisation period, but\nLatumenten is currently under construction.
