        "content": "<p>125 netted in ID inspection<\/p>\n<p>At least 125 people found to be traveling without<br>\nidentification cards (KTP) were apprehended by the Central<br>\nJakarta population office team on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The citizenship inspection took place in the afternoon along<br>\nJl. Percetakan Negara, Central Jakarta, checking motorists and<br>\npeople riding public transportation for proper identification.<\/p>\n<p>Those who were found without proper identification were<br>\nsubjected to an on-the-spot trial held at the office of the<br>\nstate-owned salt factory, PN Garam, which was headed by judge Leo<br>\nHutagalung of the Central Jakarta district court.<\/p>\n<p>Offenders were either fined between Rp 11,000 (US$5) and Rp<br>\n25,000, or incarcerated for five days.<\/p>\n<p>As quoted by Pelita the head of the Central Jakarta population<br>\noffice, H Nurzul Noor, explained that the operation is designed<br>\nto increase awareness towards the necessity to carry valid<br>\nidentification documents at all times.
