TANGERANG SELATAN \u2014 Police have recovered 120 chairs and one blower\nbelonging to the Fatimah az-Zahra Wedding vendor in South Tangerang,\nwhich had gone missing, in Pangkalan Jati, Cinere, Depok on Thursday, 7\nMay 2026.<\/p>\n
Ciputat Timur Police Chief Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq said the items\nwere returned to the owner.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe incident occurred on 30 April; the items were found a week\nlater, so it was three weeks ago,\u201d Bambang said when interviewed at the\nCiputat Timur Police Station in South Tangerang on Monday, 1 June\n2026.<\/p>\n
Bambang explained that the case began when decoration vendor owner\nSiti Fatimah (39) received a rental order for 170 Futura chairs and\nthree blowers from a man with the initials AAP.<\/p>\n
Fatimah then delivered all ordered items to the location on 30 April\n2026.<\/p>\n
However, after the items arrived, the suspect allegedly used a\nride-hailing app service to collect part of the delivered equipment.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter the 170 chairs and three blowers were delivered, another\nrequest came via a ride-hailing app. Out of the 170 chairs, 120 chairs\nand three blowers were taken,\u201d Bambang said.<\/p>\n
The victim subsequently filed a report at Ciputat Timur Police\nStation under case number TBL\/B\/578\/IV\/2026\/SPKT\/SEK.Ciputat\nTimur\/Res.Tangsel\/PMJ on the same day.<\/p>\n
After receiving the report, police conducted an investigation and\nfound that the suspect, AAP, used a three-way scam method.<\/p>\n
In this case, the suspect pretended to rent items from the victim,\nthen offered the same items to another party via social media.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo the person who ordered the chairs from Mrs Fatimah then passed\nthem on to someone else via social media using a different account,\u201d he\nexplained.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe eventually found an address in Pangkalan Jati where Mrs Siti\nFatimah\u2019s items were still located,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
