Prabowo made these remarks while delivering a speech at the 11th\nEastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok, Russia, on Thursday\n(3\/9\/2026). Prabowo began by addressing the theme of the EEF, titled\n\u2018The Far East: Development for the Benefit of People\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat is the meaning of \u2018Development for the Benefit of People\u2019 for\nIndonesia: the greatest good for the greatest number. Development must\nnot only benefit a few. Development must be measured at the dining\ntables of ordinary families. Whether children receive nutritious food,\nwhether farmers can obtain fertiliser and sell their produce at a fair\nprice, whether families can live in decent housing,\u201d Prabowo stated in\nhis speech.<\/p>\n
Prabowo expressed that the forum\u2019s theme aligns with his government\u2019s\nprogrammes, specifically the MBG for children and pregnant women.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is why Indonesia provides free nutritious meals for all our\nchildren and for pregnant women,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Prabowo emphasised that his administration is driving rapid economic\ngrowth that delivers tangible impacts on society. He expressed his\ndesire to see millions of his citizens lifted out of the poverty\nline.<\/p>\n
