        "content": "<p>PT PLN (Persero) has recorded 116,537 customers throughout Indonesia\nutilising the 50% discount programme for electricity power upgrades\ntitled \u201cPower Up Real, Listrik Aman Kerja Lancar\u201d. PLN implemented the\nprogramme from 15 to 28 April 2026 to support customers\u2019 electricity\nneeds, particularly during work-from-home (WFH) implementations and\ndaily household activities.<\/p>\n<p>PLN Retail and Commerce Director Adi Priyanto stated that household\nelectricity needs continue to rise in line with increasing societal\nactivities at home. Therefore, PLN introduced this programme so that\ncustomers can obtain more reliable electricity services at more\naffordable costs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis programme has helped customers experience the benefits of more\nreliable electricity in supporting various daily activities, whether\nWFH, business, or other home-based endeavours,\u201d Adi said, quoted from a\nwritten statement on Thursday, 7 May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the power change from 900 Volt-Ampere (VA) to 1,300\nVA was the most popular choice among customers during the programme,\nwith 25,881 participants, accounting for approximately 22.21% of the\ntotal programme realisations.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, 24,116 customers upgraded from 1,300 VA to 2,200 VA.\nMeanwhile, the upgrade from 450 VA to 900 VA was utilised by 18,515\ncustomers.<\/p>\n<p>According to Adi, the high public interest indicates that household\nelectricity needs are continuously increasing, both for work, running\nbusinesses, and supporting daily comfort.<\/p>\n<p>PLN is also continuing to encourage digital transformation through\nthe optimisation of PLN Mobile. Through the app, customers can access\npower upgrade services more quickly, conveniently, and\ntransparently.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cPower Up Real, Listrik Aman Kerja Lancar\u201d programme targets\nsingle-phase low-voltage customers with initial capacities from 450 VA\nto 5,500 VA. Customers can upgrade up to 7,700 VA with a 50% discount on\ncosts via the PLN Mobile app.<\/p>",
