Don\u2019t wait until closer to the departure date\nbecause sales are constantly dynamic,\u201d said Manager of Public Relations\nof KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Franoto Wibowo in Jakarta, Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>KAI Jakarta operates 86 long-distance train journeys per day during\nthe 2026 Eid al-Fitr transportation period, consisting of 68 regular\ntrains, 12 additional trains from Gambir Station and 6 additional trains\nfrom Pasar Senen Station.<\/p>\n<p>It is recorded that the favourite trains departing from Gambir\nStation include train 6 Argo Semeru, train 8 Bima, train 118 Gunungjati,\ntrain 7006 Batavia, train 124 Cakrabuana, and train 32 Pandalungan.<\/p>\n<p>The favourite destinations for homecoming include Yogyakarta,\nSurabaya, Semarang, Bandung, Jember and Purwokerto.<\/p>\n<p>Franoto said that the government is providing economic stimulus in\nthe form of a 30 percent discount for Commercial Economy class trains,\nwhich will be valid from 14-29 March 2026 to help people get safe,\ncomfortable, punctual and affordable transportation during the Eid\nperiod.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically for the Daop 1 Jakarta area, the total number of seats\nfor long-distance Commercial Economy class trains (14-29 March) is\n329,000 seats.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe total number of seats sold\/booked is 226,000. For the Pangrango\nCommercial Economy class local train during the same period, 46,000\nseats are available,\u201d said Franoto.<\/p>",
