The Jakarta Transportation Department is preparing 10 parking\nlocations around the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area to support the\nTelkomsel Digiland Run 2026 event, which will take place on Sunday, 17\nMay 2026. This measure is taken to ensure the mobility of participants\nand the public remains smooth and to minimise traffic congestion in the\narea.<\/p>\n
The Acting Head of the Jakarta Transportation Department, Ujang\nHermawan, explained that the total parking capacity provided reaches\n1,957 Standard Parking Units (SRP) for four-wheeled vehicles and 8,229\nSRP for two-wheeled vehicles.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe urge the public and event participants to use the parking\nlocations that have been provided and follow the directions of officers\non the field,\u201d said Ujang in Jakarta, Saturday (16\/5).<\/p>\n
Ujang added that this arrangement is an effort to maintain traffic\norder. Even though parking locations have been provided, his party still\nadvises the public to use public transport to get to the event\nlocation.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe also encourage the public to prioritise the use of public\ntransport to get to the event location so that mobility remains smooth\nand other community activities are not disrupted,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
