Head\nof the Bureau of Communication and Public Information of the Ministry of\nTransportation, Ernita Titis Dewi, stated that this figure is higher\nthan the same period during last year\u2019s Lebaran. \u201cThis number shows an\nincrease of 9.23 percent compared to the 2025 Lebaran transport of\n9,158,315 people,\u201d she said in a written statement on Saturday, 21 March\n2026. The number of general passengers includes rail transport with\n2,981,945 people, up 13.22 percent from 2,633,878 people; air transport\nwith 2,190,282 people, up 3.05 percent from 2,125,523 people; ferry\ncrossings with 2,482,303 people, up 14.78 percent from 2,162,708 people;\nland transport with 1,587,060 people, up 9.18 percent from 1,453,679\npeople; and sea transport with 761,993 people. On H-1, Titis said,\nvehicles exiting the Jakarta toll gate were recorded at 117,016 units,\nwhile those entering reached 66,210 units. The total movement of\nvehicles exiting and entering at the Jabodetabek toll gates was 248,349\nunits, and at non-Jabodetabek toll gates, 236,758 units. Then, on\narterial roads, vehicles exiting Jabodetabek were recorded at 474,454\nunits, and those entering at 360,479 units. \u201cMeanwhile, vehicle movement\non non-Jabodetabek arterial roads reached 491,901 units,\u201d she said.\nBased on daily data from the Ministry of Transportation, the departure\nmovement of public transport passengers on H-1 Lebaran reached 915,635\npeople, spread across all modes of transport. The details include rail\ntransport with 302,823 people, consisting of 178,006 intercity\npassengers and 124,817 regional urban passengers; air transport with\n207,261 people, consisting of 161,598 domestic passengers and 45,663\ninternational passengers; sea transport with 54,693 people; ferry\ncrossings with 189,804 people; land transport with 161,054 people,\nconsisting of 145,340 bus passengers and 15,714 travel passengers. The\nhighest on-time performance (OTP) for public transport on H-1 was\nintercity trains at 98.20 percent, regional trains at 98.90 percent,\ndomestic flights at 85.79 percent, international flights at 70.24\npercent, sea at 95.70 percent, ferry crossings at 63.19 percent, and\nland at 72.49 percent.
