"summary": "Following the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 2026, Jakarta's Population and Civil Registration Office recorded 1,776 new migrants entering the capital, with the majority citing family reasons at 34.19 percent. Migrants primarily hail from West Java (38.87 percent) and other Javanese provinces, showing a balanced gender distribution and a downward trend compared to previous years. The provincial government is intensifying outreach efforts through local collaborations to ensure proper registration, emphasising administrative compliance rather than enforcement, to maintain accurate population data and optimise public services amid rising post-holiday mobility.",
