        "content": "<p>The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) has\nreported that 1,360 pupils in the first cohort of Integrated National\nSchools (SNT), spread across 17 locations, are ready to take part in the\nFriendly School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) starting\ntoday.<\/p>\n<p>Director General of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and\nNon-formal and Informal Education (Dirjen PAUD Dikdas dan PNFI) Gogot\nSuharwoto said the 1,360 pupils consist of 680 SNT pupils at lower\nsecondary school (SMP) level and 680 SNT pupils at upper secondary\nschool (SMA) level.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have carried out the selection process, or the New Pupil\nAdmission System (SPMB), from 2,068 applicants, and 1,360 pupils passed\nthe selection. This consists of 680 SMP pupils and 680 SMA pupils. This\nis the first cohort of Integrated National Schools for the 2026\/2027\nacademic year,\u201d Gogot said at the opening of the First Cohort Integrated\nNational School MPLS in Bogor Regency, West Java Province, on\nMonday.<\/p>\n<p>Gogot further explained that the ministry had previously received\nproposals for SNT locations from 114 regencies and cities, but after a\nprocess of verification, validation, and field visits, Kemendikdasmen\ntogether with relevant ministries and agencies determined that 37 SNT\nlocations would be built this year.<\/p>\n<p>Of these 37 locations, he continued, 17 SNTs have begun operating in\nthe 2026\/2027 academic year, one of which is SNT 7 Parung in Bogor\nRegency, West Java Province.<\/p>\n<p>For teachers and learning support staff serving at Integrated\nNational Schools, the ministry has recruited 204 individuals selected\nfrom a pool of 60,000 pre-service teachers participating in the Teacher\nProfessional Education (PPG) programme.<\/p>\n<p>The head teachers, teachers, and support staff, he continued, have\nundergone a five-day training and preparation programme before being\ndeployed to their respective assigned schools.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope SNT can become a place where our children learn, grow,\nachieve, and eventually produce future leaders who make a great\ncontribution to the nation and to their regions,\u201d Gogot said.<\/p>\n<p>For information, Kemendikdasmen is ready to organise Integrated\nNational Schools in 17 locations: Bogor Regency, Cianjur Regency, Gowa\nRegency, Bone Bolango Regency, Tidore Islands City, Nusantara Capital\nCity, Banyumas Regency, Jepara Regency, Subulussalam City, Tarakan City,\nDonggala Regency, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Minahasa Regency,\nKupang Regency, Central Buton Regency, Tebo Regency, and East Tanjung\nJabung Regency.<\/p>",
