'I used to drink seven cups of coffee a day'

------------------------------- Onetime model Debby Sahertian made the sometimes difficult transition from catwalk to sound stage, acting in the phenomenally successful sitcom Lenong Rumpi in the early 1990s. She has since become a TV quiz show host, sitcom director and even authored her own guide to slang.

Known for her super-fit figure, she tells us where she goes when she wants to indulge.

--------------------------------------

Next best thing to mom's home cooking?

Well, I usually get ketoprak (boiled mixed vegetable salad with rice cakes, vermicelli, tofu in a garlic-chili sauce) in Jl. Ciragio, and I enjoy visiting Hanamasa on Jl. Mahakam (South Jakarta). I like the ketoprak with bakwan (fritters) and Hanamasa because we can eat as much as we want!

Sweet treats?

My favorite place to get bread is Roti Buana. For cakes, I go to Dapur Chocolate in South Jakarta. The opera cake is my favorite.

Coffee to go?

I used to drink coffee, but I've stopped. I would drink six or seven cups a day but I had to quit because of ulcers. If I really want a taste of coffee, I'll get a frappucino at Kafe Victoria in Plaza Senayan.

Fast food fix?

I like McDonald's, but only the cheeseburger and fries. That's enough.

Best atmosphere?

Paprika in Menteng, Central Jakarta. It stands out.

Service with a smile?

Same, it has to be Paprika.

Most promising new place in town?

I cannot think of any place in Jakarta, but in Bali, I like Kudeta.
