3 scientists named chief researchers

JAKARTA: The Agency for Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) named three of its experts as chief expert researchers, the highest rank in research, in recognition of their contributions to development their fields.

Energy conservation expert Amiral Aziz, chemical conversion and fuel combustion expert Petrus Panaka and water quality management expert Yudhi Sutrisno were promoted with a presidential decree on Wednesday.

Since 1990, BPPT has named 16 scientists as chief expert researchers, the highest rank in the institution. -- JP
