Bojonegoro (ANTARA News) - Local crude oil miners in Beji, Hargomulyo and Wonocolo villages, Kedewan subdistrict, Bojonegoro, did not reject investors joining this activities.
"The oil miners could accept investors joining their mining operations," said Kedewan subdistrict chief Hery Kismanto here Friday.
He said the crude oil miners operating in three villages in Kedewan subdistrict running 47 old wells each day, have no problem with the joining of investors like PT. Tripika Bangun Energie and PT.Prima Energie Lestari (PEL).
Hery said that under the cooperation scheme with the local miners, after the miners had handed over their crude oil to the rural cooperatives (KUDs) according to their respective regions, the handing over of the crude oil from the oil fields built by the Dutch colonialists, will be carried out the regional state enterprises of the Bojonegoro regency administration to prevent envy between the two KUDs.
On the other hand, the mining were also willing to accept the two companies, because of the rewards they will receive on a regular basis, not as what is happening now, because the crude oil is distilled by themselves, while the price of crude oil is also fluctuating according to world oil prices.
"If the price of world oil dropped, the price of the crude oilsold to the miners also declined, like what is happening now," he said.
He said that the price of crude oil per oil drum for oil wells in Beji village bought by the distillers reached Rp200,000 and the price of crude oil in Wonocolo and Hargomulyo villages which is of better quality may reach Rp300,000 per drum.
After distilled traditionally producing 185 liters of diesel oil per drum, the price may reach Rp2,500 per liter, while wages between 2-3 people, and the fire wood for the distillation reached Rp100,000.
The price received by the miners reached only Rp1,000 to Rp1,500 per liter, not much different from the reward offers by state oil and gas company Pertamina.
"Therefore the local miners have no objection to the joining of investors," he said. According to data, in the three villages there are 300 locations of oil distillation. (*)
