Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Up to September 9 this year, Indonesia imported a total of 1.22 million kg of entrails, according to the Ministry of Agriculture here on Thursday.

The ministry`s data showed the innards were imported from Australia and New Zealand by five companies. It was part of the 20.55 million kg Indonesia had planned to import based on permits isued by the Husbandry Directorate General.

The ministry`s data also indicated the realized entrails and meat imports from Canada consisted of meat of prime cut, secondary cut and various other cut types.

The plans were to import 4.20 milion kg but only 1,772 kg were actually imported by CV Sumber Laut Perkasa.

According to the plans, CV Sumber Laut Perkasa, PT Cahaya Sakti Utama, PT Karunia Segar Utama and PT Indoguna Utama would import the 4.10 million kg of secondary cut meat consisting of 75,000 kg of meat of various cut types and 4.07 million kg of entrails. (*)

There was a place at the Hilton in Dubai where you could buy the "Metre Long Stunner" which was as suggested, a Sausage which was 1 metre long, coiled on the plate with Mashed Potatoes and Beans.

Looked disgusting but was in fact extremely palatable.
