TEMPO Interactive, Surakarta:Businessmen in the provinces do not have enough information regarding the ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement. They are urging the central government and business groups in Jakarta to immediately share the information with them. “So far, regional businessmen have been guessing about what will happen in 2010,” Baningsih Bradach Tedjokartono, the Surakarta branch of Indonesian Businessmen Association, said yesterday.

The invasion of Chinese products has already been felt. Matahari Communication Centre Surakarta manager, Boen Setiawan, said at least 15 China-made cellular phone producers have opened an official agency there.
